The RX-01 transmission transfers power from the pinion gear to the output shaft through the spur gear and counter gear, providing three stages of gear reduction.
The gear set includes the following three gears:
38T–32T — Spur Gear
38T–32T — Counter Gear
30T — Final Gear
These three gears are fixed in position, so their gear mesh is predetermined. However, proper adjustment of the pinion-to-spur gear mesh is critical during assembly.
Incorrect gear mesh may cause excessive wear, noise, or gear damage. Be sure to set the pinion and spur gears with the proper mesh before operating the vehicle. |
